Its irritating that my hats dont fit anymore after growing my hair. I have to get 2 size bigger for fitted caps likefrom 7 1/8 to 8" LOL
yes dude_1000, That happened to me too and I wore a 7 5/8 to begin with. Have to find an XL or 2XL for a fitted hat. Not impossible to find but not real easy either! Fitted ball caps can be stretched over a bowling ball but then again not real easy.

My hat is a FlexIt, so I don't have to worry about it much since there's a bit of stretch to it. :)
Yes, it is true. I already had a great giant pumpkin type head, but now my hat size is even larger. I still have a lot of hats that fit well. I just have to try on different sizes until I find one that fits. I strongly prefer a hat/cap to a ponytail.

Shit you thnk that is bad? imagine having to buy two different sized motorcycle helmets at $300-$500 USD a pop
I jokingly state that I am growing my own hat (a toque). Actually, unless I have my hair pulled back or 'smooshed' under a bandana there is no way I could put almost any hat on....

(I will post update pics of an awesome, curly lambs-skin winter hat I bought at a fair this year once the winter weather hits: It actually looks much like my own hair!)
You do have a large head! I am a 7 1/4 with long hair (European 57). I think I was a 6 7/8 with short hair, which is average, but I haven't had short hair since I was 14, and I'm now 49, LOL! Maybe my head was actually smaller, although I think not, because head size doesn't change much with age.
I have always needed a size 4 m/c helmet, whereas average is size 2 (no, that's not a 2:1 size ratio!) but I have never had short hair since I first rode a motorcycle. Sadly, it's also a long time since I last rode one. Oh, well.
I hadn't thought of this before, but bikers have a great excuse not to get a hair cut. Can't afford a new helmet, LOL!
