How can I really? all my friends are short hair, they don`t care if my hair is like this. But some make fun of me, how should I defend myself? thanks

"What other people think of me is none of my business"
So, do not worry about what your "friends" think. If they are true friends, they will be there for you....if they ridicule you, then they were not friends.
An important part of the "Longhair Journey" is discovering one's individuality. Stick around this board and you will watch people develop their personality and ethical standards as their hair lengthens.
Defend yourself? Your confidence will say all that needs to be said.
