I'm back after a short hiatus. Some of you may remember me. The last few times I posted I mentioned some turmoil that I was going through. I'm happy to report that I'm doing better after rediscovering and learning some things about myself. I'm still growing my hair. It's been a year and 6 months I believe now... Lately I keep having dreams of having short hair and feeling sad. I think it's just do to how I still percieve myself and it's a shock when I remember that I have long hair in the waking world. I got a new job. Some may remember the crap I was going through with my employer wanting me to cut my hair or split. Well, I split. There is a hair policy at my new job, but I work nights and they are pretty laid back and tolerant as long as you do your job. I haven't been able to say that about any other job I've been at so things there are OK. There are two other people with long hair there; one with a mullet and one with a pony tail. :)
Glad to have you back, Emmerich! Even more so, glad to hear you're still growing your hair out. Best of luck on your job, too. Take care and post some update pics when you get a chance. =)

Emmerich, Glad all is well with you and you found a longhair tolerant employer. Best of luck!

Great to see your face back on the board! I'm glad that everything is better than it was, and you found a job that's fairly laid-back. See ya around, man! :)
Congrats on the job change. Hope it all works out for you. Have you heard of lucid dreaming? You can influence, and sometimes even control, your dreams. Try preparing yourself before bed, by telling yourself that you are going to dream good things about long hair. Visualize what you would like to happen, as a result of being a longhair. After a few weeks of doing this, you should start having positive longhair dreams. Not only the fact that this will help you change your perception of yourself _as_ a longhair. Dreams reflect what is in our subconscious mind, if you have longhair concerns, dreams will show that, whether they are worries or desires.

I have actually heard alot about it and have done it on some scale. I used to keep a dream journal, but I lost interest. Dreams still fascinate me, though.
... glad things are working out for you.

I am so glad that things are working out in your favor. I do remember you mentioning awhile back some serious problems. Terrific that your situation has improved, it is nice to know that you have learned important things along the way. I can't think of a more important subject than learning about yourself, since all other learning stems from that. May things continue to go as well for you :)
