What is the "right" way to compliment a man's longhair? Sometimes I see guys with hair that is just beautiful, but it feels too awkward to just walk up and say "dude, you've got great hair" or something like that.
That is indeed a good point. I have seldom received compliments about my mid-back long hairs but each time it "made my day" for sure. Men in general don't receive much compliments and it is ashame as we need it as well as the women to my humble point of view.
The simplest way is the best one. Most of each time a women give me compliment on my hairs they start by something like: "Excuse me, may I tell you something..." on which I reply: "Of course." And then they go on with what they want to share with me.
Please, if ever you feel like doing so, do it... It is always so welcomed. It is a free gift and this is something so rare.
Yours
Jean
I've had quite a few women compliment my hair many various ways. I always feels good to receive a compliment.
I occasionally receive that kind of compliment and it always makes me feel great! For someone shy, "Would you mind if I told you I really admire your beautiful hair?" would be a very sweet and kind way of putting it!
Life is too short to not appreciate all the good things about other people!

I think it would be very helpful to get compliments from a woman about my long hair, if she likes it. Sometimes I see that women look kindly at me, sometimes they look at me as if they want to kill or me or as if I look like an alien, but I don't know if this is adressed to me or not. To get compliments from a woman about my long hair would be very helpful to also give compliments to a long haired woman, in most cases I am too shy because I don't know if it could be misunderstood.
