As my hair is getting more longer i notice shedding a lot more. I find that even after I run my fingers through my hair gently, there is hair coming out. I realize that shedding is normal, but i heard about garlic shampoo that helps shedding and breakage. I read some forums on the internet and people that have actually tried it said that it works excellent and literally almost stops shedding all together in some cases. Let me know what you guys think.

Do be careful what you put on your hair, Miller. If that shampoo has a garlic scent it may be a joke product rather than something beneficial. That scent can be a lingering one, recently there was a thread at another hair site about a person who tried some garlic mixture six months ago and can still smell garlic when their hair is wet.
Most shampoos will work just fine for long hair. Shedding is normal and not going to be a problem for growing long hair. Excessive shedding in unusual patches without regrowth can be a sign of other health problems though. If that is what you have the fix is seeing a health professional rather than a bottle.

lol well i thought of that but it says that it is unscented so it would not smell like garlic. Anyway thanks for the advice.
