Greetings Guys and Gals! Here is a pic at the beach a few days ago. I'm getting there...still have to use some gel to keep the shorter hairs in place, I'm hoping that in 4 or so months from now I won't have to resort to this. I find that I'm wearing a tail more nowadays since I think my overall look at this stage is not good wearing my hair unrestrained. Oddly enough, I'm having a harder time at this point...hopefully in a few more months that will be different. Thank you all for the inspiration, it's kept me going for certain. Cheers to everyone!

What a fabulous update, and such a wonderful transformation. Your hair is looking superb these days, and look at the length of that tail! You have come such a long ways in only 17 months from the extremely short hair you had before. Keep up the GREAT growth!

Thanks so much David! I appreciate your kind words and encouragement. I think that in about 4 or 5 months, as I've said to a few others, that I should be mostly over this dreaded awful stage. If it was not for you and the crew I would have never made it this far, so again much thanks indeed.

Lookin' absolutely spectacular there, Max!! It gets much easier in a few months, once you can gather all your mane back into a tail. One thing I did when my hair was at your stage was i wore a lot of bandanas. I also happen to like the look of half-tails; but, I realize not everyone is comfortable with that look...

Hey Ken! I thank you for your words...coming from a longhair pro like you! I do wear a bandana frequently as well and have just started wearing it with a tail also. Guess we are on the same wavelength on that issue. Have tried the half-tail a few times but I don't seem to get it quite right, but I do like that look however.

Sounds like you're getting close to making a full tail. I have to think it'll be easier then.

You are definitely getting there Max, that is a fine tail. It won't take too much longer for it all to go together. Nothing like a nice scenic beach to get your mind off the hair while you wait! Looks like quite an impressive place from the few boulders I can see.

Great progress Max! I know what you mean when you're at that stage where all of your hair almost reaches the tie. I agree - I think 4 months should do it for you.
