Hi, here is a quick 15 month update, really only because I'm putting off studying Organic Chem but I'm due anyway. Last update was June - 12 months, there has been some fair progress since then although my hair seems to get curlier instead of longer. I don't post much but I read everyday and, as usual, thanks to all of you.
Lookin really good there Allen! Soon you'll be completely out of the awkward stage:)

Nice hair indeed. I actually think the curliness adds a great deal - certainly nothing to criticise yourself for which you seem to be doing.

Wow, looking really good thus far. I'd say we're at about the same point in terms of length, but I'd say my hair is on average a bit curlier than yours. Keep up the good work.

Looking Good. The curliness is extenuated by the fact that your hair is getting "scrunched" up as it his your shoulders, but it suits you. Another few months it'll be past your shoulders and unimpeded to flow down your back.
Unimpeded flow is definitely what I'm going for. Funny, my urologist tells me the same thing. Thank you.

Hey you have really nice curly/wavy hair Allen, very impressive update. Looks very cool, the curls are worth it even if they apparently keep your hair looking shorter.
Just think of hair growing as an experiment in Organic Chemistry, maybe you can get extra credit for the project :)

What a fabulous update. Your thick curly hair looks outstanding, and what a HUGE change from you avatar! You have come such a LONG ways in such a short period of time, and things only get better from now on. Remember that curly hair can be frustrating to grow long, but the rewards are WELL worth it, as long curly hair looks awesome! I just celebrated my one year anniversary with an update of my own, and really think this is a fabulous community like no other.
It is cool that you are studying Organic Chemistry. Perhaps I see a fellow scientist in the making! I am a chemist myself, and wish you all the best in your future goals.

Thank you for your kind words, David. I aspire to be a scientist someday, but Organic Chem is only a requirement on the path to a Biology degree, not my true passion.
You are right that curly hair is frustrating but judging by others on the board (Mr. Crow, Fire In the Sky, among others) curly/wavy hair looks great once it finally gets out there. Thats why I continue to look to you and them on this board for support.

Cool update. You look like your just about done with the awkward stage. I like the curly hair but that's how it is, people with curly hair want straight hair and the other way around.
