So sorry to burst anybodys bubble around here and hardly wanted to ruin a contest or hurt anyones feelings, so have awaited until now to reveal to all how it's really done. But please don't feel bad heaven forbid, for your spectacular efforts have been most admiral. So what do you say guys, A+ for them and A+++ 4 me? LOL :-)
Yes indeed, that is the ***REAL*** headstand! (Something even *I* can still do - lol!!)
The pic cut off your hair, though... so, you have to take that shot again!!
- Ken
Hey Ken
I use alot of hair to cushion the face. All of the rest was flipped to the other side and my RH shoulder was covering it.
Would have had a few more taken but the batterys went dead. :-(
Tis late so I better "crawl" into bed with this now broken neck.........i,i,i mean what the heck. It's late.
Take care :-)
Justin~
Are you sure somebody isn't holding your legs Justin?
~ Dave ;-)
Hey Dave
Why sure. I'm always sure even though unsure, and being unsure can make one feel sometimes as if they were sure. Now surely this is an unsure answer for sure. lol :-)
Take care-
Justin~
sure is ;-)
Justin! Why is this picture cropped? Common, Who was holding your legs!?
Cropped? Alas, a bit of mud from the garden was on one of me shoes and surely nobody would want to see that, so I spared you all the sight. And really, who would want to get their hands all dirty with mud? LOL
all the best Chris
Justin~
Hi Justin,
Now THAT is spry, and I give you a big A++++++ for winning the Headstand competion! I am sure I would get VERY dizzy trying to do one of those, and would probably fall over ALL too easily.
(Also, it is great to see the antique phonograph in the background)
Take care,
David
Hi David
Thanks for the high score. I tried to be as modest as possible about the whole thing. Haven't heard yet of the prize, but perhaps a "Gold Trophy" engraved with a genuine diamond tipped pen would just about make it. LOL :-)
And of the Phonograph. It was made by the Victor Talking Machine Company in 1902 and still plays like the day it was made! Far better and more dependable than an electronic device of today.
Take care
Justin~
Cheater! 8-O I detect a bit of 'assistance'. You are hereby disqualified.
I think the penalty is 100 lashes with a wet hair strand. ;-)
Carol
Oh well, I figured I might have been disqualified because most likely the deadline has past. But just wait until the next contest. And of the lashes, you are much too kind with the penalty. :-)
All the best-
Justin~
Could you do that again but rather than a photo I want to paint a picture so.....Don't move!!
(Grin)
Kevin
Hey Kevin
Sure, you can paint a picture without any fear of me moving today. Am going around this AM with my electric wheel-chair in a state of paralasis. LOL :-)
Justin~
Hey Justin...
What a cool shot! How many people did it take to hold your legs??? - uh ... muddy shoes...that is? :-)
I officially give you an A-. But, A+++++++ for effort!
How sore are you today? ! ? ! :-)
Tristan
Thanks!
Hmmmmmmm...................wonder where people are getting that idea? :-0
A-? I'll take it! :-)
Well, let's just put it this way: The pain killers are working fine so I don't feel sore in the slighest. And, I am still able to blink my eyes as well as type at the moment. Ah...........the benefits of having such strong muscles have I. :-)
Take care-
Justin~
Gee, the things some people do to get their picture in the paper on the internet!
I would say for contortioning the body in a more realistic manner (ie they way the rest of us non super flexible athletes do!) and humor provocation far beyond the call of duty, you are hereby awarded a five star review and some well deserved R & R!
Yeah, I know Chris as I have always wondered about these types of people myself. Wonder what gets into them? :-0
You are much too kind Chris and deserve an award yourself. Tell U what. When that Gold trophy arrives here via Armored-Car, I'll get out my Miter Box and saw one of the handles off and send it to you. Pure .9999 solid Gold...........and, Gold isn't cheap these days.
Thanks Chris and all the best- :-)
Justin~
Hey Justin. That is quite some headstand. The form is quite unique and truly different. You definitly get an A+++ for your hair and music, but the headstand well....Have a great day and keep working on that headstand. (Don't hurt yourself).
Your friend,
Del
Well, in all modesty I knew that the form was ever so unique and I always try to B different. Thanks! :-)
Hey, coming from a pro like you........i mean one who is almost as good as am I, your compliment was ever so kind. But don't give up Del for U will soon have it all down perfect! :-) (Don't forget to have some pain killers on hand however lest yee nearly break your neck. ) :-0 LOL
Take care Del and always my best to you.
Justin~
ps: (I used to stand on me head on Piano keys before I sold the Piano. It is always best to stand on a sharp just to make sure you won't land flat.)
It's amazing the "state" you end up in when you electric wheelie chair goes wrong!
Cheers,
John.B
And get this. Had a blow-out this afternoon of one of the wheels that knocked me right out of the chair! Can you imagine in this day and age still using "inner tubes" 4 wheel chairs? Darn good thing I have a "walker." Trouble is, it has no wheels! And,I can't walk today! LOL :-)
