So, I decided I'd give you guys a link to a site where my poetry is. Nothing about long hair but people tell me some of them are pretty good. So, just as I showed you how this longhaired fellow cooks, I am showing you how he writes...
Let me know what you guys think.
Antesse, my longhaired fellow artist, poet, and writer, you are a Titan among men! Thank you for linking us to this site w/ your poetry. I must admit, the site's a tad difficult to manoeuvre around, but what with a little perserverance when it comes TO your poetry, it is MORE than a worthy effort . . . your muse is not only part of the Romantic school, it is part of the Magical Realist school. Talk abt. crossovers! And the corporate logo rendition of your initials ON the virtual poetry books is well wrought, too
Once again, Antesse, you really struck a chord in me. I'm going to tell others of our poetic ilk to stop by and have themselves a visit too fershure!
Awed by your work,
Quenyan

Quenyan:
I suppose you found the poem "Melisse" to be of particular interest as the word "Melisse" is Elvish? And the text is vaguely Elvish-ish in nature?
How lovely!
Cheers,

Hi Antesse,
I finally had a chance to look at your web page. I read a few of the sonnets, and they are very good. I like the way you make the turns, and the rhyme schemes are very nice.
Also the poem about Melisse is exemplary. It conjures up just the right images you intended, I think. I thought of a rider of the Mark, a blond-headed Rohirrim, when I read it.
I guess it is just coincidence, but Melissa is also Greek for honey bee, a cognate to the Latin and Hittite words for honey.
I used to try to write such things and really enjoyed it, though I don't think they were as good as yours!
Thanks, Bragi
See what you think of all this mixture of the good and bad...
