Hi guys, here I am with my 8 month progress pics update. So far so good, except those bad frizzy-wavy hairs. Anyone have some ideas to handle my hairs?? Comments are welcome.
Thanks and keep growing everyone!

I think it looks great. You're actualy at my goal length. Just out of curiosity, how long was your har when you started?
Hi, Gaijin,
Thanks for your comment; I have attached my pic when I started on February 2007.
We need to be patient

SamsoKera ...
Hello. Your hair looks fine. It looks like its where its supposed to be for about 8 months. Your now getting into the awkward stage so hang in there.. You may try some gel and apply to damp hair. I did that at that stage and it seemed to help quite a bit. The best thing at your stage is just patience my friend. - and no scissors of course..
Be Blessed..

Looking good, a bit of gel or wax might help with the frizziness, but at this stage I'd look to use the messy wave as bit of a grungy look.
Hi guys,
Thank you for your great support, comments and advices. In no doubt it will help me.
Take care

Your hair is exceptionally thick! It should look wonderful as it gets longer. As for the frizzies, you can always try taming them with a little oil or alcohol-free gel. We all get them, so don't stress over them too much. =)
Keep growing and take care!

Hi SamsoKera,
What a fabulous update! You are blessed with thick, wavy hair in fabulous condition, and you have come a long ways in 8 months. What you are experiencing right now is part of the awkward phase, which will pass with a few more months of growth. Be sure to keep it growing!
All the best,
David
WOW! Great progress for 8 months. Looking at the pic your frizzies don't look too bad really so I would just grin and bear it. I don't know what your hair care routine is but I'm an advocate of conditioning a lot as more often than not it helps
a great deal. You have curly hair so try and resist the temptation to trim just let it run it's course.
Take care
Kevin
Looks great I am especially fond of the headband to hold it back, great color too.
Absolutely amazing progress for only 8 months. Do you ever have fabulous hair! Frizzies are always with us when our hair becomes longer. It is just a natural thing. If bothering you too much try this to tame them a bit:
1. Rinse both hands in water.
2. Apply a bead or two of gel to the palm of one hand.
3. Rub both hands together quickly and then smooth over the hair. (All will be dry in less than a minute and the frizzies should be eliminated by a high percent.)
Hope this helps
A bit of gel will tame the frizzies. As your hair gets longer, gravity will take over, and the awkward curls will relax a bit. You have nice hair to start with, it will be great with added length.
