  I thought it would be good to have a thread with everyone's opinions on what the best products are, so here are some categories:
  Best Deep Conditioner:
  Best Shampoo:

    Best Deep Conditioner: Along with performance I also rate them as to ease of availability. I use Aussie 3 Min. Miracle.

    Best Shampoo: Same criteria. Aussie Moist.

    Best Mousse: None (extra product often spells extra damage).

    Best Hair Treatment: None (extra product often spells extra damage).

    Best Conditioner: Same criteria. Aussie Moist or Aussie Sydney Smooth.

    Best Hairspray: None (extra product often spells extra damage).

    Best round brush: I prefer these. A natural bristle brush by a company like Scrunchy is what I recommend.

    Best heat protection product: None (extra product often spells extra damage). If you are applying that much heat on a regular basis then you might rethink your hair care routine.

    Best Smoothing product: None (extra product often spells extra damage)...though a vinegar rinse every month or two can help.

    Best Volumizer: None (extra product often spells extra damage).

    Best Paddle brush: I don't use paddles anymore but you'll want one that doesn't catch your hair where the bristles meet the paddle. A natural bristle brush by a company like Scrunchy is what I recommend.

    Best Wide Tooth Comb: I don't use them.

    Best Fine Tooth Comb: I don't use them.

    Best texture product: None (extra product often spells extra damage).

    Best Deep Conditioner: Aussie 3 minute miracle (loveee it) and Queen Helena Hot Oil Treatment with Placenta
    Best Shampoo: I love Chi shampoos
    Best Mousse: Aussie Catch the Wave with Deep Conditioner (all the volume of mousse with none of the hair frying effects
    Best Hair Treatment: Queen Helena Cholesterol (incredible for damaged hair)
    Best Conditioner: I love redken allsoft, or for a lighter type, Nexxus Humectress
    Best Hairspray: For body, big sexy hair all the way, for sleeker looks, Redken
    Best round brush: I love my natural bristle tourmaline ceramic from Ricky's NYC (can't remember brand)
    Best heat protection product: VO5 make it straight
    Best Smoothing product: Chi Silk Infusion (it's actually really good for your hair)
    Best Volumizer: Catwalk volume cream (volume with no damage)
    Best Paddle brush: Ceramic and tourmaline from Sephora
