I've tried several times to be added, and even emailed the tech crew, but I still have'nt heard anything. What do I need to do to get added to the directory?
Did you use this page? This is the normal way to join the directory.

Also, it may take some time as humans and furthermore human volunteers is what makes the site go. So, wait a little longer and if it still is not up there, let the techies know.

There is only one informal requirement that you must posses in order to join........relax.
They guys that run this beautiful place dont do this as a full time job. After you have taken all of the necessary steps involved in "joining", then just wait till one of the tech guys takes time (unpain time might i remind you)to handle it.
