Hey fellow long-hairs, following my doubts about the hair, I'm happy to report that I am feeling a lot brighter about the whole thing (in no small part to the tremendous support I received here; thank you all again so much).
I still have days where my hair bugs me, but its mostly humorous things like getting it in my mouth when eating etc! I'm also enjoying wearing it down a lot more, although damn it can hot under there! Here are a few pics illustrating current styles.

Great picture Troy, I am delighted that we were able to help you preserve your hair lol. Seriously it looks great dude and gives another great example for any doubters who say long hair and muscles don't go together. Figuring out how long to grow it is the hard part (for me anyway) lots of guys here want all that they can get. I hope you get to your goal (if you set one) now and don't let conformity here pressure you into growing too long any more than someone pressuring you into cutting it short :)

I'm glad you opted to stay with the long locks.. It really does fit you well. Enjoy those moments of humor when your hair flops down in your mouth.. At least as a long hair; you don't look like everyone else...

Your hair looks GREAT, Troy; but, don't you think you should work out and bulk up just a little bit?? I mean, just look at me, --- all fat and NO muscle! Uh... I, I, I mean... skinny arms and big around the middle... Uh, er... I, I, I mean: hair that's long enough to totally hide the "multitude of sins" of my completely UNamazing upper body (thank God).... Uh, er, uh, hmmmm... Well! As I was saying... Although nobody can even come *close* to the absolutely stellar example of pure masculine PERFECTION of my own awesome Urban Cowboy physique (ahemmmm...); I'd say you're starting to look like you might have just recently joined a gym or something, - no?

his arms are probably bigger than most guys legs...I think he's just right frankly. If only we could get him to give us a shirtless pic :)
And some good work out advice would be nice too! I work my ass off, and never get bigger, suggestions would be great and welcomed if you've got the time Troy.
With apologies to Troy who is clearly very qualified to respond:
What's your diet like? Working your butt off tells me that you're burning calories. How much protein are you taking in? What's your p/c/f (protein/carbs/fat) ratio?
If you want to grow you need to take in more calories than a regular maintenance diet.
