Here is Dave Decker from the back. A few wispy strands of his hair reach his ankles and he is 6 feet tall.

You have arrived Jonalbear, and yes, he is real. It was longhair heaven. I felt quite humbled. I finally met a guy with hair longer than mine. Guys like him are rare for sure. My guess is that there may be fewer than 20 guys in the entire United States with hair as long or longer than his.
For comparison his longest measured strand of hair was 64 inches long. Mine was a mere 44 7/8".

My god. 64 inches is nothing short of amazing. And to think my hair reaches 9 inches. I hope he hasn't reached terminal length!

In my case, even though I am face blind, I find hair most attractive when it is seen along with the face (and from what we see posted, that is probably the case with most people).

Those are terrific shots Bill, the one with everybody really shows what our place here is about. A strong kinship based on something we all value, not just the hair but the strong friendship that is always tangible to everyone who comes here, a real brotherhood.

Hi Bill, two of the women don't want their faces shown. I do have a front picture. It takes a bit of extra work to cover their faces. I will try to modify the photo tonight and get it up.

I agree with Bill on this. I like shots of fronts--much more pleasing to look at in my opinion. Although, I'm not exactly Mr. PIC-City myself, so I have little standing to complain.
If I wanted to look at backs I'd have people turn around when talking to me
Dave does have unbelievably long hair, I was also fortunate enough to meet him once when I had much much shorter hair than I do now at a LHC meetup that Elizabeth invited me to. Boy did I ever stand out, I had longish hair then but not even enough for a tail. However everyone there was really cool and welcoming and I didn't feel awkward at all despite the awkward stage :)
Dave was super nice as were all there, lately I have been considering joining the LHC but I will wait until my wavering resolution about hair passes as I hope it will do soon as I recover. Than its LHC here I come, everybody who knows them seems to really like the community and the ones from there I saw were superb!
This guys hair just rocks! 64 inches? My height is 59 3/4 inches, which means Dave's hair is over 4 inches longer than I am tall. This dude is the hair god! Someone mentioned Danny Ceccati of Eyefear of being around 5 ft 8 in. tall, so Dave gives him some competition in the hair length department. Wow! (Trying to picture some guy with hair longer than I am tall, and being unable to fathom such a feat)

im 6ft tall as well and my goal is mid-back lenth since my hair is wavy and some curly i think that would be a perfect lenth for my hair type, anyways always photo dude its awesome! maybe ill get to meet some of you great guys one day keep it growing!

Remarkable photos Absalom and were you ever lucky to actually witness hair that long. Sure wish I could do it, but am thankful for the length I can grow my own hair to. Thanks for posting these great long hair heros.
Excellent pictures Scott and Bill, your manes are inspirational, and its just great to see you all together as Chris says in 'brotherhood' mode.
