Hello all,
i'm really sorry i haven't posted these day beceause of too munch work but i check the board everydays.
maybe you know that i have a kind of skin disease on my scalp, called "Seborrheic Dermatitis". It causes me a lot of dandruff and a lot of itching.
Even if i had a medicated shampoo from my dermatologist i never managed to get rid of the itching.
In a previous post Jeffrey adviced me to try the Neutrogena T/Gel shampoo.
Now it's about 4 week that i'm using it and guess what, the itching has nearly diseapered.
so it's a very big THANK YOU JEFFREY , now i can live better withing itching my scalp to blood.
On the bad side my hair is really dry and i still have dandruff.
but now it doesn't itch anymore!!!!
Thanks you all !

Hey, glad to hear that you have found a solution to your problem, Angel! It's also good to see you around the board again. Hope you're doing well otherwise. Take care. =)

Hi Angel,
I am SO happy for you that you have found a solution that works for you. I am definitely looking forward to your next update. Keep that awesome thick mane growing!
Take care,
David
Hi, Angel!
I'm glad to hear that it is helping. I would only use T-Gel once, or, twice per week. T-Gel will stay in your hair for a long while. I know that you use conditioner and that is a good idea, as you will need a good conditioner to prevent dryness. As I stated earlier, be sure to use T-Gel with good ventilation as the fumes are quite strong and may cause some breathing difficulties if used in tight quarters. You might also try Head & Shoulders shampoo once, or, twice per week until the dandruff stops. Other than that you might want to consider a good leave in conditioner as well. Nizoral is a very effective anti-dandruff shampoo, but, it can be very harsh on long hair and will certainly cause more dryness. Anyway, your hair looks awesome and I'm sure that you will soon be able to get your problem under control. Please, let me know how it goes.

Heeeeey Angel, yeah, the hair dries out a tad fr. the treatment. The answer? CHERRY BARK HAIR CONDITIONER! Yup, after a medical shampoo treatment, I use cherry bark hair conditioner, not that long a stretch fr. Mane 'n Tail brand conditioner, but hey, it's an effective adjunct to the dryness we experience fr. treating the seborrhoea. T-Gel is fine, but the "t" stands for tar. I use Nizoral shampoo, too, once an oral tablet used for skin diseases caused by candidiasis and the fungual infection tinea versicolour but now made into a shampoo, too. Hope that this info is helpful. I'm sure that you'll be able to find all of these wonderfully helpful items in the Land of the Bastille.
Yours for wellness AND longhaired camaraderie,
Quenyan
Hi Angel,
I am very happy you feel better. I had the same problem. I'm using now the lush solid shampoo: (http://ca.lush.com/cgi-bin/lushdb/101?expand=Haircare)
.... and in addition I add 3 drops of pure rosemary essential oil and 3 of lavender. That's smell funny but it's MIRACULOUS!!!!
Also, I do not need any conditioner.
Take care,
