I've written before and explained how my wife encourages me to be more feminine. We've experimented with beautiful hairdos and I am now a blonde. Now she says female hormones will make my hair much prettier and silky.Does any one know if this is true? Has anyone out there tried hormones. Please let me know.
If you are talking about taking hormones, forget it! Your body makes the hormones it needs. If it didn't, you'd be sick. Hormones are extremely powerful chemicals that change everything about your body and your mind.

Yeah, you wife is encouraging you to be feminine - guys preparing for sex change operations take female hormones. So unless you want to be a LOT more feminine, stay away from hormones. Your body is designed to give you the right balance of hormones, and if you mess with that balance your asking for some major problems, and not just in terms of looks, you could end up with some serious health problems if you mess around with your body's internal chemistry. Taking female hormones won't do a thing to help the hair on your head - although you might notice a change in body/facial hair - because having pretty/silky hair doens't have anything to do with being male or female, it's got to do with how well you take care of your hair and your genetics, which adding hormones won't change anyway.
"Male" and "Female" hair is exactly the same. Hormones won't make a smidge of difference to your hair. But they may make a great difference to your body. Just take real good care of your hair. That is how to get it to be silky and soft.
