Hi Everyone!
it's been a few months since my last update and post, but now my laptop is working again so it's time to frighten you with some pics. Actually it will just be a couple for now, photobucket seems to be down right now, c'est la vie. I also wanted to give a quick but warm welcome to all of the newer members, congrats on making the decision to grow out your hair, it's not easy at times but well worth it, I love having long hair ;) And I also wanted to thank all of the members on here who have always offered up kind words of encouragement along the way. This will probably be my last photo update until december when I reach my 18 month mark.
this first pic is just my hair without being brushed out

Hi Danny,
Your hair is phenomenal! You are blessed with hair that is SO, SO thick, and what amazing progress for only 16 months. And to top it off, that silvery colour is awesome beyond words. Keep those glorious locks growing!
Take care,
David
Thanks David, I can hardly wait for it to reach waist length. I hope that it will only take another year and a half :)

Those gray streaks look really awesome!
Thanks ESDI, a few more years and it won't just be streaks hehe
That's some thick hair, it's coming along nicely.
You look like a JohnB in the making :P
Ah ha do I have competition! Nothing wrong with grey hair and it's natural..:-)
John.B
No competition buddy, I am sure I would win in going gray first hehehehehe j/k btw, when did you start going gray? I started at 14 and it does seem to be growing in faster these days though
Hello !
Your hair hair is amazing ! Incredibly thick. The white strands seem very strange but very nice too.
Keep growing, bye
Vivien
Strange? Yeah, it is strange, you should see what it's like in bright sunlight hehehehe Thanks for the nice words Vivien ;)
Thanks Walter ;)
Some on else with exceelnt hair - really tick - the grey streaks are awesome. Are you prematurely grey?
Yup, I started going gray at 14, I get it from both sides of the family. In a few years I should have almost solid white and silver/gray hair
Hey Danny you have some of the most unusual hair I have seen ever here at the MLHH. Such thick thick waves and curls and the unique color and grey streaks, I have never seen the like. You have so much hair!!
Excellent hair, I cannot imagine what it will look like as it grows longer. Incredible, congratulations Danny :)
a thin haired admirer lol
Thanks Chris :) I am really looking forward to having waist length hair too. I have to admit though, I am sometimes envious of people with straight hair, letting it blow in the wind without getting tangles (because come on, what's the point of having long hair if you can't roll down the car window and feel the wind rush through your hair! hehehe) I've always liked your hair and progress, do you have any length goals in mind or have you reached them?
I am now way beyond my original goal, which was a ponytail length only. Somehow I just never stopped growing it but now I am unsure what I want to do. I am letting it grow for now but I may cut it back some in the future.
Woow...
I love the grey hair! o_o Really, it's so fantastic how you are assuming it in such a young age, and it looks so good and healthy!! I love grey hair, specially when people grow it long =)
Also, your waves and texture seem very nice, your hair looks really healthy, and seeing it even longer is one thing to look forward.
Congratulations Danny. I can remember that you were a little sad at first because of the grey hair, but, my grandfather was all grey at 18 years old, so this is something that I guess it's genetic and happens to some people. You are one smart guy that knows how to take advantage of what nature gave you =) Thank's for sharing the pictures, and good luck for future progress!!
Thanks Joao,
coming from you those are huge compliments since I think that you have some of the most healthy amazing hair on here. Yeah, I am a bit more comfortable with my white and gray now :)
Thanks again for the good luck, same goes for you on your continued path to longer hair .
Wow! Your silvery hair looks awesome. It looks healthy and THICK! You have made great progress Danny. You should be proud of yourself. Keep it growing and keep us posted.
THanks Chris, I will. I hope that my hair will be visibly longer in December for my 18 month update ;)
Danny, Wonderful hair! Thanks for posting the update pictures.
peace, jonalbear
Thanks jonalbear ;) Always glad to share pics. I really like your hair too, btw, do you ever keep your hair pulled back? I do usually at work so it doesn't obscure the screen or keyboard hehehe but when I pull it back, I can only get the band around my hair 2 times, sometimes 3, and it's still a little loose, if I try to do it a 4th time it snaps. any ideas?
Danny, I wear my hair tied back at work also, usually 3 times is enough for me. Any more and it feels like my hair is being pulled. After I first wash my hair I wear a cap to train my hair to lie down for the day!
peace, jonalbear
Congrats on a wonderful update Danny, you look awesome! I always thought a bit of gray would look good but I had to wait 50 years!
Keep on growin'
Bruce
I'm amazed that you have so much silver grey hair, at such a young age. Genetics sure does strange things. Yet you have thick full hair. In my mid-40's, I am just now starting to get white hairs around my temples, and along my hairline. And my superfine hair has grown thin. But I'm still fairly blonde. I bet your hair really looks interesting in bright outdoor light.
Carol
Looks awesome man.....and really suits you :)
Hey Danny,
Thanks for sharing the pics! You have a wonderful mane of hair and the salt and pepper look really suits you. I really needed to see these pics because I'm in the same boat; genetically predisposed to an early head of gray and already with a Santa Claus white beard to accompany it(that is if I don't pull out the JFM which I use quite frequently). I've been dying the mane occasionally with JFM, but I think I'm just gonna let it go natural for awhile. That's at least what the gal whom last professionlly colored my hair said anyway; couldn't believe that I wanted to cover up that 'pretty gray', so she just colored some of the thicker patches of gray and let the rest be. Of course she and her colleague thought that I was in my late 30s and I'm just now 26:) Not surprising though; I seem to get that more and more often with or without the hair color, so I might as well embrace it. Besides, I'm into older women anyway:)
Again, your hair is looking fabulous, so keep up the good work!
Matt P.
Hey Danny, very nice pic...and a great head of hair you have. You are yet another source of motivation for me. Guess we are both at about the same stage. I'm at about 17.5 months now and hoping it will get easier.
Cheers,
Max
What an awesome, thick mane. You have much to be proud of.
