grunge, bob, undercut

Hello all u long hairedppl :)
I grew my hair when i was 15 into a kurt cobain style cut. i had it streaked,had this for a year, then decided i needed a change. ot it cut into a long/short cut if u no what i mean. this is ok but now im growing it again, but with no colour, so its natural and easier to comb etc.
I like it long felt really grunge etc, but now i want it long, but not how i had it. I used to have it behind my ears, but didnt like it too muich, but when it was forward it looked ded big and fluffy.
SO now its growing, and im ot putting it behind ears, and want a grungey look, but not a bob.
I was thinking of an undercut, at a length bout below ears and nose, above mouth length, its currently just past eyes, kind of in layers since ive just left it to grow. But when i get it a length and undercut it, shud i have it all level all the way round, becasue the back might look odd, if teh hair dusnt go past the roots of the neck hair. What shud i do to the hair thats just before the low down neck hair? grow it in layers until its teh length then cut it, or shape it into the neck and keep cuting that until the top is the right length to cover it? also, how high do u have an undercut, and do u have it all thew way round ur head?

  Hmm, I say for a grungey look dont shape it around your neck, because doesn't shape and form go against the concept of grunge anyway? I dont know, that's what I figure. I've had to cut my hair into a bob to appease my parents but I'm done with that. As for the undercut, um...hmmm, I'm just going on record as saying I'm not an undercut fan really, (lol, but this girl I took to homecoming had an undercut so I guess its not a big deal to me really), but I'd think slightly below the top of your eyes would be a good spot to shave up to

    Thanx....but if u dont have it shaped round the neck, the bottom hair will come through under the above hair-so there will be layers at the back that come out below it, so wudnt it be bext to cyt them out?
