I was wondering if the mouth wash Listerine will help hair grow out faster. If the product actually works, how many inches of extra hair will I growh each month?

What??? Mouth wash to help hair grow faster? I never heard this before, i wonder what else will people rememeber to do next to their hair.

Look at the ingredients on Listerine--mostly alcohol. You do not want to swallow this. And I don't think you want to douse your hair in it either!

Do not take this post seriously, and do not heed this "remedy". Listerine is poisonous and is not meant to be digested. The alcohol content may not be digestible, in addition to other substances used in an antiseptic mouthwash that can be hazardous when consumed in this manner. One of the main ingredients is probably isopropyl alcohol, which will break down into a cummulative poison in your digestive system, unlike ethyl alcohol. Drink that stuff and your hair will still grow while you're six feet under. If you have drinked any, you may want to consider contacting a poison control centre or hospital emergency room if you have consumed enough to be a detriment to your health. - Reinhart
Who said about drinking that stuff? Anyhow, do not take that post seriously, since Steve probably meant to take this "remedy" externally by topically applying to the scalp! However, I have read many posts about how isopropyl alcohol can dry-out your hair!
