I have only posted once before, but I would like to announce that I've made a new decision with my hair. In addition to continued growth, I'm starting a beard for the first time in my life. I've been a bit too afraid to grow one, since my facial hair isn't too thick. But this time I don't care if it's thin, I'm trying it anyway!
Sounds great good time of the year to go for the beard. I'm currently starting a beard curtain myself with a soul patch. Keep me updated on your progress.
Go for it you only live once so have fun.
Mine was thin when I first grew it but never shaved it off after that except once and I thought I looked so hideous I wore a bag over my head for two weeks. LOL

Hi Liko,
Do it, let the beard grow. I waited until very late in life to try a full beard. I'd been goateed and 'stached for decades. You have to be patient if your beard isn't wolfman quality. I didn't think I would be able to do a full beard but I found I could. It was thinner than I'd have liked on the sides but it was a full beard. I decided to go back to a goatee but I never would have know that I really could have a full beard without trying. Hair grows in cycles so it can take months for all the whiskers to fill in. I gave it six months.
I suggest a visit to http://jefffsbeardboard.dmc12.yuku.com/
It's a great group of bearded/growing guys. Not unlike the folks on this board. There's lots of information on every topic related to beards.
Give it a try you'll be glad you did.
