I found out I have a staph infection and its spreading throughout my whole body, im going to the emergency room tommorow so i can get treated and get rid of this nasty virus out of me before it gets worse cause im getting worse each day around, illness, fever, constant headache and its not going away now until i get treated,if i dont get treated in the early stages it can hurt me very badly and maybe even kill me as a matter of fact, cause i looked up on the internet and people have actually died because they didnt get treated early enough and thought it was gonna go away by itself and thats not gonna happen to me, no sir!
please keep me in your thoughts and a fast recovery, love all!
Omg man, good luck in there!

Brian the words mean alot to me man, you seem like a pretty cool dude and thanks for keeping me in your thoughts bro
I think you need to go tonight, the sooner the better. Yes, this infection can be deadly. Take it with the utmost seriousness.
Good luck and speedy recovery!
MRSA has been in the news of late- is this the culprit?
Whatever your affliction, please recover.
Many people may think a staph infection is child's play, but my best friend just had one (from a tiny splinter nonetheless) and the hospital staff said it could have been very serious had he not attended to it so soon. I'm glad to hear you're seeking treatment for this. Best of luck to you!
Staph is a bacterial infection, not a virus, so a good course of antibiotics should knock it out. Just be sure to finish all the meds they give you, even if you feel better before the course of antibiotics is up. Hope you are feeling well and up and about soon.

But the big problem in this bout of Staph spreading accross the country is the over use of antibiotics in past years. So now
that you need that antibiotic badly it won't be effective.
Something to think about the next time your doctor prescribes
an anti biotic.
I certainly will as I am sure we all will. A Staff infection (as I have known of it) usually likes to lurk within hospitals of all things.)
I wouldn't be surprised if emergency admitted you to the hospital tomorrow.
Wishing you the best in a cure real fast.
Sorry that you are going through this nightmare.
God Mark that is frightening I will be wishing you a fast recovery. I hope that you have caught it in time. If you can please let us know what happens, we are all with you Mark
Mark,
I'm hoping for a quick and full recovery for you...I am sure all of us are! Keep that fighting attitude, my man, and hang in there!!! Your in my thoughts and prayers.
Take care,
Brett
Hi Mark,
I will definitely keep you in my thoughts and prayers, and I feel for you, since I lost my oldest brother last year due to a similar infection that was diagnosed too late. (It was originally thought that he had the flu) Fortunately, if caught and treated early, it is definitely treatable. When my brother was admittted to the hospital last year, it was too late to save him. He had hardly ever been sick a day in his life, so it was a horrible shock to lose him.
Take care,
David
Mark, Mark! Jeez! GET TREATED FOR THIS IMMEDIATELY! There's an especially virulent form of this disease going around at present. In '82 I too would've been "eaten up" by hemalitic verdus streptococcus, another life-threatening bacterial infection, had I not been raced to hospital. I remained there a whole week, pumped full of antibiotics, mostly I.V. drips. They even thought I might have, MIGHT HAVE, ended up with a rheumatic heart from it, but I didn't. Their regimen of intravenous antibiotic drips wiped out all traces of the disease completely with no permanent damage whatsoever.
We're all standing with on this, Mark. Thank the Gods for modern medicine. It's boring being quarantined for a week in hospital, as I was, but hey, given the choice between saving your life or dying!? IT'S WORTH IT! Keep us apprised of your progress. We're all rooting for you, Mark.
Best wishes for a speedy recovery,
Quenyan
My understanding is the best thing you can do to treat this
kind of thing is when you go to a doctor for xxxxxx
ailment don't get an anti biotic unless it's absolutely
necessary. This Staph infection is so prevalant now
because antiobiotics have been so heavily over used and the
current strains have immunity to the antibiotics.
So when you really need that antibiotic badly it's not
effective.
I wish you luck in this situation.
David,Chris,Justin,Carol,Brett and all others I just wanna thank you for the great support and i'll def let everyone know when im fully recovered, thanks for the inspiration love you guys... Mark
In July my housemate suddenly came down with flu like symptoms. Within 8 hours his temperature was up to 103.7. We were able to see our Dr. immediately. He determined it was a Staph. infection. It was from a bug bite of some sort in the crotch area. It took over three weeks and 3 different antibiotics to fight the bacteria, but he's fully cured. The Dr. said he was lucky to get care so early which kept him out of the hospital.
Be sure to follow the Doctor's directions and use all the antibiotics prescribed. Ibuprophen and Tylenol really helped to keep the fever down, but let your doctor advise you about that.
I'll be keeping you in my thoughts.
we'll keep you in our thoughts and hope all goes well
as that's a serious condition.
