Sometimes hair spray can be your friend - but then there's all the challenge of getting rid of it later.
I had to get my picture taken this morning for the local radio station (we won a prize) - so I put my hair back in a tail and shellacked it all down with some hair spray. In spite of the wind, everything stayed where it should. I then realized it's been a while since I posted a picture. I'm currently working on my winter beard as well so there'll be quite a change since my last posting in July. To quote Captain Redbeard Rum (from BlackAdder) it get's big enough to be "a beard you could lose a badger in".

That beard is coming along very nicely.
Regarding the hair sprays, I believe there are special ones that are easy to take off just by combing through. In fact, I have one. I used it while I worked at the bank. It held well for the whole day and then simply came out when I brushed/combed my hair.

What a great update, and congratulations on winning that prize! (hope it was a big one, lol!) Your hair looks great, and appears a lot longer than your avatar. Also, that is a superb beard.
