I went to the opticians today, for a routine eye checkup, i came out needing glasses. ironic how i complained i needed glasses for 13 years, and the year i have no complaints, they diagnose me.
anhow, i got some nice ones that should be ready by monsay, i'm interested to see how they go with my hair, and generally it will be a new look for me..
Too bad you finally have to get glasses but I am glad you found a nice pair. If you like them post us a picture. I had contacts for awhile but I am back to glasses again cause they stopped making the type I used to wear and I haven't found a replacement yet.
If you don't like the glasses with the hair, maybe you can get contacts as well. I started wearing contacts after I started growing out cause I thought that long hair was better without glasses. Actually I like the look either way now, so hopefully you will too!
Congratulations on getting glasses....first of all, you will notice that the world is brighter and clearer. A good first test is looking at trees....you will notice the leaves are more distinct and greener. Check out power lines also.....
I have always been fond of glasses and often they are the only "jewelry" that men wear.

Nope ! I take my own advise.....when the leaves start blurring and there do not seem to be powerlines between the poles (very, very bad for a pilot ! HA!) I get new ones.....Usually every two years.....I have been wearing "blended trifocals" for some years with photogray lenses and rimless frames....love 'em !

Awwwwwwwww to bad I actually wear Contact Lenses myself and I only wear them I never liked Glasses as such but everyone to his own maybe you might decided the same thing as me
