Hi there,
Wow the topics move fast on this board and Sunday was a busy days for posting, just a few replies to posts:
Malendras - Wow that's really amazing growth for 4 years and suits you well and the addtion of the goatee compliments the longhairs as well. I hope you had a great time in California.
Steve NoVA : I hope on my next trip to California to visit the Redwood forests and such big trees. You look like you are settled there in California now. The pictures are great and the one of you standing face the tree, the light has really caught you hair and it looks in great condition and wonderful to see all the different shades of brown. Keep it growing.
Just Carol : Thanks for sharing your pictures with us and you don't need to be shy. You have beautiful looking longhair and and a lovely colour and lovely smile as well. Always nice to see happy smiling pictures.
Gylfi : Great update pictures there and you hair has grown amazing long and not far from belt length. It's wonderful to see the colour and the wavy body as well and I'm sure you are very happy with that. I was just wondering do you find just washing you hair with water helps. I know everyone has their own hair care routine. Do keep it growing and a lovely inspiration.
Animosity : Nothing wrong with going out with the family and great pictures. You really do have some lovely colours up there in the Autumn. The hair is coming along great and always good to see it natural daylight as well. Keep it growing.
Herb2992 - I hope that things are well in Germany your English is better than my written Germany. You certain have come along way is such a short time and wonderful to see curly/ringlets texture of you hair. I know some people would be very jealous of that do do keep it growing. Do you have any length goals. Wonderful - John.B
Neil : I'm sorry to hear you are still suffering from this virus and wish you a speedy recovery. No of us likes being ill and as the winter sets in it's time year for the bugs to set in. Take it easy my friend.

Hi.
Thanks for your reply and your compliments. :)
Things are going alright in Germany although I'm not too content with my situaton. My school becomes bussier and bussier and my private problems (those I ahave with myself) aswell and both just don't work together, the private-side of life makes it harder to go to school and bad marks make the private site even worse. I hope to fix that at least in my next vacations which are next week. On saturday there's also a small metal-festival near where I live (it lasts only a night) and I consider to go there...well, it's just the second metal-festival/concert I ever went to (although I listen to the music for 2 years now (16 is considered to be a late age for getting into this music, but who cares (I'm 18 since this years 24th january)), my last being the party.san-festival in august 2007 which was one of my best experiences ever. The posts I made on the MLHH helped me in my today's english-exercise, I could use a few of my expressions. Anyway I wasn't able to read my exercise again to correct all my mistakes like commas (I belong to those slow students and write way too many words) and I wasn't able to answer a question (fortunately it was alow rated one), so I'm not sure how it worked. I'm a bit sick, so my concentration wasn't that good. Many people have a cold these days, I hope to get through it soon (I feel much better yet).
Having answered if "things go well" here, here's my answer to the hair-related part: My next length-goal is to pass the 3 year mark and after that maybe to reach my therminal length which shouldn't be longer than mid-back when dry (keep my curls in mind). But I think genetically I won't reach that anyway. But I'm content with any length, I even liked my awkward-stage-lngth to some degree and I wouldn't complain if I already reached terminal. I mean I never had such long hair and to some degree the whole growing procedure happend by coincedence. I didn't shave my head with the goal to grow it out to terminal or whatever. The idea came up later when my hair began to regrow and the idea became stronger the loger my hair became. First I aimed at reaching a year of growth, then they became 2 and a short time later, yet before I reached 2 they became 3 (I'm thinking on terminal length since maybe half a year). I just wait and see what time and nature intend.lol
But I think longer than waist-length hair wouldn't be my cup of tea, respect to those ones who have it and can mange it properly. But maybe I think different of that when my hair passes my waist (although I know that I won't reach that).
According to jealousy: Yes, I sometimes earn really nice compliments for my curls which can really make my day (mostly from women). There are also a few guys who respect/like my curls. But also many guys say that I looked much better with shorter hair or a shaved/buzzed head, but who cares. And a third group says that I have to get a cut into it/to trim it to make it look neat. But I plan not to get any real trim (apart from S&Ds or split-cuts when neccessary) until I reach my goal: my personal length (I don't know exactly where that is, though...anywhere on my back, I think). But I'm yet quite proud of it, to be honest. In my age 2 years are quite a long time.
My reply became quite long again, sorry. Thanks for reading, though.
Greetings, Herb2992
P.S.: Your hair looks awsome, too. The colour looks fabulous, it suits you really well. You also have a very nice avatar.
The new pic of me shows my hair in almost best condition, I washed it just yesterday.
