So, Hallowe'en is coming up. Anyone have any good ideas for longhaired costumes or have any good stories. Last year I was just a mad scientist who had tiny little pigtails for some reason.
I never go all out so maybe I'll just make it simple. But any ideas for me or just to share?

Here's what I am wearing. Mostly 'cause I like the hat. I have the exact hat and a similar costume. Looks good with long hair tumbling down. Unfortunately mine is not as long as I would like. BTW this is not me. I'll post an after Halloween pic of me in costume.

you should go as a knight. or a muskateer.
1. "boy + friend" ... so when are you gonna drop the plus sign?
2. "slutty black riding hood" ... so like LRRH only with a little black dress? I would say make sure to take a picture...but that would sound perverted and desperate...so, um...take a picture of the two of you together so that we have another view of your longhaired manfriend.
3. "knight" ... I could always ask my female friend if she has any chainmail in my size and if I can borrow a sword and she and I can totally try medieval fantasy costuming...

- the dress is red vinyl, and the hood is black. and you are perverted, so you may as well just ask. hahaha! i'll see what i can get for pictures, but i certainly want one for myself.
- 'female friend?' is this a girl + friend? and isn't a little too soon for 'fantasy costuming'? ;)
Guys don't express emotions much. That is a good sign.
Cool beans. Just make sure to play it safe. Watch out for that big bad wolf.
Yeah kind of I guess. Oh and think Dungeons and Dragons or Lord of the Rings "fantasy"...so fantasy literature...or like costuming for Ren Faire or a movie about knights fighting dragons.
So I suppose you'll have your hair down so pics should be forthwith, right? ;-)~

My personal favorite is a Pirate!!!
This year I found a dandy costume on line at a costume "superstore", and who knows, I might even add the beads to the beard, like Johnny Depp. Why stop there; maybe I need the eyeliner too!
Been growing the hair for like 30 months, so it might be time for a halloween photo update. Maybe all of you other clever goblins will do similar.
I have been letting the beard grow wild too, for the effect, and at my age (over 50) it sort of completes the whole picture.
I don't go out that night, as everyone seems to come my way; we get over 300 trick-or-treaters that night, and I would hate to disappoint. Last year, the "Warlock" costume went really well with the long hair. I am sure that anything Renaissance or Mediaeval would be right in style, too. I am amazed how much more complemenatary Renaissance shirts are to long hair...but then, all of you Ren Faire guys & gals already knew that.

Well I was going to get dressed as Angelus from Angel and Btvs but the party got cancelled..
I'm going as John Lennon, which should be pretty awesome. As for other ideas, Vikings are also a nice choice. (That was my 2nd choice)
You want simple?.... Wrap yourself in aluminum foil and go as a leftover! :-)
