How long did it take you to grow your hair out and how long is it now?
3 years, lower back, 2 trims =)
26 Months from almost totally buzzed. Quite proud of my progress.

Erm, not sure how long its been exactly, but it's been slightly more than 2 years with a few trims early on.

Marcus, I have had the tail for about 14 years. Tail reaches to my lower back at it's longest. Approximately 30 inches long. Started growing out the sides almost 3 years ago. Will post 3 yr update photos in mid November.

About 4+ years to waist and I am keeping it at that length from now on.
