Hi all,
Recently I posted that I had put a picture that Jonny H posted of his one year update on my bathroom mirror. It is motivating me to reach that goal with an example of the growth I can expect in that time frame.
Today I created this image of the 'former' me and added it to my mirror. I was playing with Photoshop rather doing something more productive. Maybe I should have it made into a photo button...LOL!
Cheers to all,
Don
this is awesome. i hope it helps you all the way through the awkward phase! and if so, perhaps others will start doing the same thing.
side note - i sort of did the same thing recently. i was considering cutting my hair shoulder length again, so i dug out the pictures from that time period. ick! i don't want to look at them all the time, but at least being able to reference them is enough. :)
yeah, I look oodles better than I did a year ago, despite the opinions of a few people. i like my long hair and i look forward to seeing it at the ideal/desired length within the next year (super long is not for me...sorry to the superlonghairs but my butt is not going to be covered...although if i give it time and energy i probably could be an awesome superlonghair).
HAHAHAHAHA
This made me laugh out loud. Not an easy thing for me to do lol.
That's actually a great idea. I'm tempted to fins a pic of me with my ugly short hair and put the red crossout over it.
Terriffic Inspiration!
And also, Happy Halloween all on MLHH!
Here's how I look today at the 5 months anniversary of my last scalping. Not an official update pic though, because it's hard to see the length with the busy background. But you'll get the idea. I think it's about 3 inches long.
Cheers to all!
Don
Even with the busy background and 'unofficial'ness that's still some nice hair for presumably being shaven only 5 months ago.
Keep it growing and best of luck!
Thanks Patrick,
I'll have a challenge with the awkward stages because of my thick curly hair, but I am determined to make it through. I'm committed to 15 months growth even if I have to wear a hat to keep the hair monster contained! Somehow 15 months seems better than 12. That extra 1 1/2 inches may make a difference.
Cheers!
Don
Keep it growin' for sure Donald, it'll look fantastic long!
Bruce
Thanks Guys,
I'm glad you enjoyed the picture. I find a daily reminder of my goals helps to keep me motivated.
