Happy Halloween to all !
I hope everyone is having a nice spooky holiday filled with goodys and great costumes. I havent been here this much but want to say I am still around doing okay and letting my hair grow back.
I just want to say I am lucky to have all of you guys here as friends and also will be here if anyone needs a friend to talk to. I would like to also have a big chat time so we can all get together in the chat room because it seems like it is always empty. I think it would be great to sit back relax and chat with all the wonderful people here.

Heey Rick! A happy Halloween to you as well! I'm glad to hear that you're growing your hair out again, it's gonna look great on you:)
It would be fun to speak to you in the chatroom because it's often on the nights people are in there, and i often have to wake up early to work and such, but i'm gonna try to get more time for that.

Well I didn't realise that All Hallows Eve was a a national holiday over there. I do know that we've had the "trick or treat" imported over here and gangs of little darlings and mothers knocking at doors. Joys of living a 1st floor apartment we don't get many coming up here!
Anyway don't get too scared tonight and I'll try and catch you the chat room.

We didn't get a one, but here the parents cart their little darlings off to the richest neighborhoods where the loot is the best. Heaven forbid they'd have to WALK. (They get driven to school, too, creating traffic jams around schools.) Also, they seem to trick-or-treat before dark, a change from when I was a kid - it was definitely uncool then to be out in that garb before nightfall.
Halloween is not a governmental holiday on this side of the pond any more than St. Patrick's Day or Good Friday is. These days are celebrated nevertheless! (Generally after work, since bosses don't let you off for such days.)
The party in our neighborhood for Halloween got so out of hand (200,000 on the street) that the city canceled it this year. People said that would never work - people would come anyway - but news reports that there would be mobs of nasty police officers worked, and almost no one showed up.

Happy Halloween, everybody! I also had stoner shades, but I borrowed them from someone else, and had to give them back before I could snap a picture. Hope everyone has had a spooky evening! :)
