Hey fellas,
Lately I haven't been really thrilled with my hair...partly due to laziness and not taking time to dry it as I usually do. But recently, I've changed how I wash and dry my hair...and I'm pleased with the results.
I very seldom use shampoo, opting to use conditioner instead, but I do use it from time to time. My previous drying methods included towel drying and then either air drying or blow drying. Then I decided to try something different.
As soon as I'm done showering, I immediately wrap my head with a towel. Then I'll go downstairs and goof around on the computer for a while...about 30 minutes or so...and when I take the towel off my hair is still damp, but there are no tangles! This is huge for me. I used to have to blow dry it so it wouldn't get tangled and simply air drying it left it in a real mess. I've been doing this for 3 weeks now and I'm pleased with the results. I'm also wearing it down a lot now...even at work.
I'm happy the way it's laying now and the fact that I have minimal tangles is fantastic. Last night I went to a party and my hair looked fan-frickin-tastic. Unfortunately, I didn't have my camera battery charged so I couldn't snap a pic...so here's my hair the way it looks tonight.
Take care, y'all and keep it growin'!

Brett, you may want to get something like a "Turbie-twist", they're micro-fiber so they're lighter than most towels, and you don't have superfluous fabric weighing you (and your hair!) down. The link below is to one of those infomercial sites, but a decent pharmacy/drug store should have them or a similar product for considerably less (and no waiting or shipping fee!)
Turbie Twist
Great tip...I'll be looking out for one. Thanx!

I have a somewhat similar routine but I shampoo and condition everyday then towel it up while I brush my teeth and shave. After
that remove the towel comb out and go get dressed. Because I wear
a pony tail at work it's not fully dry when I put it in a tail but either way no tangles.
Glad you found a routine that works for you.
