Hi Everyone. I just got a couple more pictures from the recent dance competition that I entered with my students. Here are some "hair" pictures from the Jive (which also won 1st place). The jive is less formal than the previously posted Tango picture so that is why I am wearing the rhinestone covered shirt. Trust me, I only wear this shirt at dance competitions and not in everyday life.

Here's another one. I like picking girls up and tossing them around. I guess that my long hair gives me strength like Samson so I can lift all those girls.

I've never taken any classes in Jive; but plenty of West Coast Swing, East Coast Swing, C&W Swing, and some Lindy. What I've seen of Jive, it always looks "bouncy", --- whereas West Coast Swing (which happens to be my favorite dance) is more smooth & sultry (although also very playful)...
Both pics are GREAT, del, --- and CONGRATS to you!!

Ken, I'd love to know if you guys ever dance to Trace Atkin's "Honky-Tonk Badonkadonk!" I bet the interpretation is interesting.
Funny you should mention Samson and lifting people. I am part of a group of friends who go on religious retreats together and there is a lot of hugging between friends. Well, one of the people had a tendency to pick people up...and I followed suit...and now I am notorious for picking people up for hugs. It seems like the longer my hair grows, the easier it is to pick people up...but it could just be me getting stronger...
That's a cool photo. When are we going to see you on dancing with the stars?
So that's how you pick up women! And all this time I thought it was metaphorical :)
Congratulations to the dancing Samson, just beware Delilah!
Beautiful woman there, Del! That's the added bonus of dancing. :-) BTW, is that the Pine's Manor in Edison? It's looks familiar.

Hi Del!
Wow very cool pic of your dance competition and another first place performance:) Looks like you certainly are having a good time just to top it off.As for the shirt I think it would be cool if your were driving in your convertible with the top down and the sun glistening off all those rhinestones. Now that certainly is a cool visual.Anyway thanks for posting the great pic with your hair of course:)Mark
You know Del, you're a star!!
Cheers ~ Dave
Congrats on the win Del!
