I've ask myself this a few times, and wondering if any of you guys know or herd about a pilot working for commercial airlines with long hair. It seems like something to far fetch..
comments, thoughts, remarks welcome.
Hmmmm Boy thats a tough one, I hate to say I would guess not but you never know. Let me guess you want ot be a commercial pilot? Good luck!
Oh by the way, your hair looks great there also. Keep it up if you can! TAke care!
I very well may be wrong, but somehow I seem to remember that a couple of years ago of several postings by a Commercial Pilot who claimed to have long hair and it didn't seem to matter. With luck, somebody here will remember the details.
Hi Raul,
I'm sure it's not that far fetched and the best thing you can do is get in touch with the airlines and ask abotu their dress policy and you never know. The hair is also looking great.

there are many female Captains....who do not have short hair so why not? Repressive air lines may be difficult but the more modern should be OK. Presumably you can tie it in a tail?
Yes I know two such pilots actually that are commercial pilots . One for American Airlines and one for Southwest ( actually a third that flies a corporate Jet)
When I personally talked to one he said American had never mentioned the length of his hair, which is shoulder length.

I had a dream once that I was flying a plane, --- does that count?
Of course, if I were you.... If you ever get on a plane in real-life, and you see me greet you while wearing a pilot's uniform, FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY, GET OFF THAT PLANE ***IMMEDIATELY***!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (I don't have a clue what any of those flashing lights mean on the instrument panel - 'nough said!)
