It's time for another update of my hair ^^ I really don't have time to post as much as I did, as uni does occupie all my time now, but I really like to do update and recieve some feedback, so I'm just taking a little break and it's a good chance to post pictures =D
So it's been 38 months and, as always, I think I couldn't be happy. My hair has improoved a lot in the last 6 months, due to the new routine of detangling and also to my very good shampoo and conditioner =D My hair used to be kinda dry and now it's just in the perfect zone about oilness... it also gained a lot of shine which I am really happy about ^^ Well, enough gabling and let's see the pictures =P
This is just a little update on my braid ^^ Sometimes I get concerned it can get thinner because I shed so much... other times I am so sure it's just the normal shedding rate... Blah! Whatever... As long as the circumference doesn't decrease there shouldn't be a problem...
And my long hair creeeeping so close to waist... Come on!! =P
Here my hands are on my waist... see what I mean? Also, if I stretch my hair it looks even closer, due to my waves. I do hope to be there by March, on my 3.5 year mark...

And another month gone by =) Time indeed flies... Just yesterday I was introducing myself on the 7th month and now.. 38 months, geesh... Long jounrey for me =) Thank you for everything guys!

Such a fantastic thick and shiny braid, the usual words don't do it justice my friend! Your new routine has made your hair even better than it was before, and that is hard to do.
Those pictures of your hair loose are amazing, such shine! You have some of the best hair here João, that is something to be proud of and something fun you can think about while you are studying hard :)

You certainly are a great inspiration and a wonderful example of long wavy thick hair and in beautiful condition. The thickness of the braid just shows how thick you hair is and I'm sure will look wonderful once it gets down to your waist.

Well no matter how you present your hair it always is outstanding in every way.I know what you mean about balancing the oilyness of your hair to total dryness.I am currently dealing with that myself as I'm trying to get that perfect balance.Anyway keep up the great updates when you can and hope uni is going as well with you as your hair is:)Mark
João, your hair is incredibly thick and full. Your braid is as thick as my wrist. You probably have two to three times the hair volume of the average guy. Because of this, you will also shed two to three times as much hair. It is possible that you have a growing cycle of 4 to 5 years. This would cause more shedding too. (Mine is about 7 years.) From your photos, you appear to be between 180 and 185 centimeters in height, and you should be able to get waist length even with a 4 year growth cycle. ( Your ponytail has to be about 1/3 of your height to reach your waist.) Anyway your hair looks great and is almost certainly the thickest. Keep growing it for sure.
