Hey Guys! I have been lazier about posting that Il ike to be as of late, so if I've missed anything important please accept my appologies.
My trip out to Oregon to visit some friends was fantastic. Along with having a wonderful time catching up on things, they were completely astounded by my hair. I like surprising people. ;-)
And now, for the pictures.

Side: It's technically hitting my shoulders more, but dang it I want more hair. More hair I say!
The standard ponytail. This is pretty much what I look like at work every day. If I tail it higher I can get the bangs too, but they stay behind the ears pretty well, and I like the lower tail. I use the higher one in kung fu class now...though much of the hair ends up loosened by the end of the night.
Halftails are getting a LOT more useful. I like having some variety for styles.
I keep practicing braiding my hair, and I'm slowly improving, and having more hair to work with helps. Eventually, I hope to make it a regular style.
This last one is from late September, but I really like it. Movement caught my eye and I turned just in time for a friend to snap the photo. It really shows what wavy hair does on a rainy day.

Wow Mouse your hair has really really improved with this update!
It is absolutely radiant and so smooth and shiny. The waves and the color in it are gorgeous :) I have always loved red hair and yours is an exquisite example of what it should look like!
You are going to be making lots of guys very jealous cause you are in the "best hair on the board club" and now you're stealing the show :)
While tails are useful I think you look really fantastic with it down loose. You are quite beautiful Mouse I am sure you are probably making your friends quite envious as well :)

Don't remember if i've asked before but, do you have any goal length? With hair as thick as yours you should me able to reach waist length without any problems i think.

I haven't set any particular goal yet, but if yo'd asked me a year ago what I wanted my current length would've been the answer. Now, I want it longer, probably at least another six inches, most likely more.

Thanks, Kevin! All of curl is completely natural, though I can encourage the curl/wave a bit by allowing it to dry loose (as I did that day) vs. constantly pushing it behind my ears or putting a bandana on. Even then, only the top portion is affected, and it doesn't look much different than in the pictures.

I am eagerly counting down the days until December 15th, not only because finals will be over but also because that will be my 18 month update. Although my hair now (17 mos.) doesn't look as long as yours at 16 mos.!!!
Great update Mouse, things have really come along haven't they? You have superb hair to work with, lovely colour and lots of body.

A bit late with replying but it's been an annoying school week. The moment I saw you've posted an update I was eager to see it. And I was amazed at how long your hair has got! It's in perfect condition, wavy, thick and so shiny. Congratulations, you without doubt will be a lovely longhair woman :D
