Hi there,
Just following on from the thread on how we used to look with short hair. I found this one of me lurking on the bottom the computer somewhere. This was me back in 1992 in they days when I used to have a quiff and the sided and back shaved. The other picture is rather mad friend of mine from Finland. God I looked younger then lol.
Cheers,
John.B
LOL John I have never seen a style like that before, maybe it was a British thing! I would say you definitely had one of the most unique starting points for growing your hair, like nuttidave's mohawk :)
Whatever happened to that wild looney John? You have mellowed into that sardonic wit we all love :)
You definitely were having fun then though!
Hi Chris,
Well you don't have to worry Chris I'm still the wild looney and there's nothing wrong with good wit with a subtle twist!
Cheers,
John.B
I have heard of people "lurking" this site, but never had anything lurking in the bottom of a computor. (I only get viruses and spyware.)
That was a fun style back in 1992 and actually looked rather nice.
Mine was still long back then but not as long as today. In fact, I seem to remember stories that when I "Hatched" I had long hair! LOL
Justin~
LOL John thanks for posting those really cool photos! They are funny and you really like a psycho j/k :D
Cool! A real psychobilly guy!:D
Oh you bet and I got into the music in the early 80's and it's still going well today and great to see a gendre of music still going.
Cheers,

That one is a classic! Makes my retro photo look a bit boring lol. Thanks for sharing that pic John
Neil
P.S have you got the new savage messiah disc yet?
John that's brilliant I like the look back then.
Did you do any promotion work with psycobilly bands back then
like you do now with metal bands?
Kevin
Hi Kevin,
To answer your question yes I did do quite a bit for promoting of psychobilly bands back then and still do from time to time. I spent alot of time travelling to the USA and Europe and it was alot of fun. On one occasion I even sorted out a 7 date tour of the USA with the Klingonz and that was alot of fun.
But like all of us we have got a big greyer and still enjoy plnety of beer and a good mosh!
Cheers,
John.B
Yeah, John, we all looked younger then. LOL! :-) I've got to ask... is it just a natural progression to go from "regular length" hair, then to shaved, then to GI or Mohawk, then onto longhair? It seems that way with a lot of us here, myself included. I guess it's just one of those things.

That is what I was wondering in an earlier post, I wondered how many people went straight from regular length to long hair like I did. Some but not many it seems lol
Wow John! I admit that sure is one peculiar hairdo. The long hair looks much better!
Quite that wild eyed punk look there John! Who would have known that our stately John.B had that skeleton in his past. Yowzah!
Bruce
Hi John,
Oh my goodness! Is that REALLY you from the days gone by! What a contraste from the longhaired guy you are today.
Cheers,
David
Yes David that was me back in 1992!
Cheers,
John.B
Well John, you're a handsome man no matter what...but I have to say that I's so glad you have that magnificently long, lush, silvering mane. You were born to have tons of hair!
