One year ago I was on you tube and I saw this video of the guitarist from Lamb of God doing his thing. Not performing, just jamming. I Don't know too much about him, but he had long hair and a long beard too. He seemed to be very confident and comfortable in his own body in a way that I can't really describe, but perhaps you know. Anyway, it was then that I really seriously started to think about letting my hair grow, Even though I had been told that I "didn't have the right hair for it" and that "I needed to find another way to express myself." Perhaps it was because at that moment I decided there simply was no other way. I started googling things like "men growing hair long" and low and behold, I stumbled upon the Mens long hair hyperboard.
So 365 days later, I'm as glad as ever that MLHH is still here, even with most of the same faces! I havn't posted very often, but the support that I've gotten from the board is really awesome. It has helped me so much, just to know that others share the same struggles; the awkward hair, the flyaways, the hair loss concerns. I feel like I do this everytime I post, but thanks to everyone who has been a part of this community and made it such an amazing place to come to. I have realized it is something that I want to contribute to, and be a part of by posting more often.
Hey! I'm new here, but I welcome you back! =)
Good to see you like Lamb of God too. Heh. =)
Hi Masomaze,
I too am very happy I found this place on the web. I echo your thoughts exactly. I'm sure the guys and gals here will keep us motivated to reach our goals. It's not just about hair but also about community and and mutual support.
Peace,
Don
Well said mate ;p, and i think MLHH will be around for along time to come.

yes it certainly is. Ill get on that as soon as I can get off the couch after all the turkey I'm going to eat!
Yea, the support here is big for some of us who basically get support nowhere else.
Congrats on the one year mark!
