I decided to take a hiatus during dork week!
I'm now at 22 1/2 months; wouldn't usually update now, but just felt like I had a good hair day (about time!). So I took a few photos:
As I said in an earlier post, I'm finally beginning to feel like I have long hair! These last two years have been fun. And the next one will be even more fun!
I'm seriously thinking about a minor trim to even the ends and eliminate some of the layers in the last two inches. Will probably do so right after the first of the year.
Keep it growing guys; it does get better! I can vouch for that!
Big George
Lookin' good there, George! And yep, your current length was about where I decided to go in for a trim myself, as I recall. Just make sure you go only to the very best, --- it can be outrageously expensive; but, if you get a good stylist who really understands long hair, the result can be extremely satisfying (and usually with only a maximum of an inch or 2 taken off, --- and many times I've even experienced excellent results with LESS than an inch removed)!
Anyway, hope you are doing well, George!
Take Care,
Ken
Thanks, Ken. Actually, that has been the main holdup of my getting a trim; I fear getting someone who does trim more than I want, and I don't want to lose the length--any length! And this may sound strange, but I have only been getting regular haircuts for so long that I am hesitant to go into a shop for a long hair trim; is that dumb or what? I just don't want to lose what took so long to gain.
Ken, I appreciate your comments.
Hi George,
Everything is coming along VERY well, you are blessed with great hair growing genes, and you have come a long ways in only 22 1/2 months. Your hair is in excellent condition with lots of shine, and just imagine where you will be with another year of growing! Not bad for a guy who is 4 months my "junior"!
Keep it growing,
David
Thanks, it's amazing what us "youngsters" can do with a bit of TLC! Thanks my friend; I appreciate your support.
Great update George, you really have neat looking hair.
Btw what is 'dork week'?
regards dave
My problem was the multitudes of photos I had to choose from that would apply!
Thanks for the comments.
Hello George!
Great update! You certainly ARE a longhair.
Cheers,
Max
Thanks, Max, as I said I am beginning to feel like one. And it's a good feeling!
You are already quite the longhair George your hair is looking fantastic, shiny and healthy. Your top picture looks you are an Indian chief or something, do you have any Amerindian blood George, just reminded of it for some reason. You have this great proud expression that did it.
Looking good George keep on doing what you are doing. I hope all is going well for you, take care George!
Chris, I sincerely appreciate your comments. The Indian references have been made more than once, and yes, my Great Grandfather on my Dad's side was full blooded Native American!
And I have been extremely busy lately taking care of some matters; it should tail off in the near future.
Thanks, Chris!
You have come a long way George....and looking good.
As always, Thanks for Sharing.
WWT
Thanks, Walter. If I could insure that I still had a long way to go I would be thrilled! Whatever happened to "young and immortal"?
I appreciate your comments.
Excellent update George. Good hair day for sure! You have great quality and quantity. Looking forward to your 2 year update.
Bruce
Thanks Bruce. I always look forward to making it another year in any way, shape, or form!
Hi Big george
It's good to hear your enjoying the experience and you certainly look like a longhair. Your gray streak is like mine it comes in
at the side. I kind of like mine that way.
Glad you felt like an update and here's to more good hair days to come.
Kevin
thanks, Kevin. I too like my "racing stripes". I appreciate your comments.
Vouch for it indeed! Great pictures and great hair. Good to see you here on the board.

Thanks, Matt; I appreciate your comments!
