It is now exactly two years since I started growing my hair. It wasn't a conscious decision at the time. I'd always had it cut very short - well at least for many years. So I am not sure quite why I started - but I am surely glad that I did. You don't get many long haird guys of my age round these parts so there have been a few comments - but not many and I am firtunate in what I do that people don't make rules about these things. So here it is an update pic. (Its not easy trying to take pics of oneself. Anyway I have learned a lot along the way and the best lesson of all is - if you want to do it - do it.

Your hair looks great, your ponytail is gaining some good length, and you have lots of shine in your hair. I don't know iff you have any particular goal length in mind, but hopefully, you plan to grow it a lot longer!

Congratulations on the two year mark of longhair growing as it looks great so far.I also commend you for the courage it takes to grow it long in what seems to be a place light on longhaired men. Looks awesome @ 2 years Firethorn! I was 42 the first time and this time I started at 50. I received some of the same comments about age, but I just figure it's my head, my hair, I'll do as I please! Congrats!

Yea, since I consider myself an old fart I get some looks and comments also; I live in a very conservative area also, and have written posts specifically about this in the past. I'm coming up on the two year mark also. Congrats on the milestone, and keep plugging away!
