Hi Neil hope alls been well with you.As for the pic you actually don't look bad at all but obviously you look so much better today with the much LONGER hair:)I agree its fun to look at old pics to see how we all appeared in the past as I myself have a few interesting ones but they are not digital but standard photos.I don't have a scanner but I'll have to try and find a way to post them.Anyway thanks for the cool rail pass pic and keep growing that awesome hair!Mark
I don't have a scanner either Mark but I found a few good pictures and took then to our local Kinko's Copy place and they have a scanner connected to a cd burner. It wasnt too much to get a cd burned with the pics and I wanted the pics digitized anyway. So if you have a graphics copy place like Kinkos try them it was easy to do :)
Hey Chris
Thanks for the info as I do have one of those stores nearby me.One other method I tried once was to lay the photo down on a table top and take a picture of it with a digital camera.LOL. This may sound nutty but if the lighting is right it does work sometimes but I'm sure doing it at a Kinkos would do a better job. Thanks for the suggestion and it was fun chatting with you the last two evenings:) Mark
Hi Neil,
Thanks for the picture. You do look good in the 'retro' pic. Of course, today you have awesome hair. I don't use that word loosely. It's inspiring to see a curly guy with the commitment to grow so long. Also, it's helpful to have your year and a half picture which gives me an idea of how I might look a year from now. We seem to have similar hair.
Peace,
Don
Hi Neil,
Great picture there mate and just shows the start of what amazing longhair you have grown to date. I was just wondering having curly hair how you got through the awkward stage?
I'll have to see if can dig any more retro pics out, pre quiff lol.
Cheers,
John.B
Wow Neil, how things have changed for you since back then. But you know what? The older photo is still a gem and it appears that you let your hair do its own thing and just grow. The "wild-look" so to speak. And it worked! I've never known of a case when it hasn't and it is the easiest way of all to long hair without all of the nibby stuff, worry and frustration about keeping the hair "just-so" during this period of growth. Thanks for sharing the photo.
What a difference, and certainly for the better, Neil. Take care, man. =)

No Neil you look quite good in that pic. All these pics from the past are really all fine it seems that just our perceptions of them have changed. What once seemed ok (to some of us anyway) suddenly became unbearable! I am sure other people still think these pictures represent our heydey :) You guys know better though!
Oh wow, what a baby faced kid you were! The hair has just gotten better and better!
Bruce
Geez, Neil, I didn't realize that you were still a teenager!
It's amazing some of the pics we took in "bygone era's". I might have to fire up the scanner and see if I can't find one or two!
Great shot!
Ha Neil, the old photo is great too! You were in the awkward stage but those curls looked fantastic even though they were many inches short from the length it is now. Cool ID :D
Funnily enough, this is still my current pass. When I show it to some of the tougher ticket collect I have to persuade then it's really me. Maybe I should get another one : P
