Hey everyone,
I've been lurking on here for probably years, and I figured I might come out of the shadows. I've grown my hair out somewhat long and cut it repeatedly before, giving into the pressures of parents and others to cut it. But now that I'm 21, out on my own, and ready to let the hair grow. I've never gotten farther than shoulder legnth, so I'm interested to see how it goes past that. At the moment, I haven't had a cut since April, and I'm looking to let it grow to about mid-back. Right now I'm putting a goal out for myself to not cut my hair until after I graduate from university. (at the moment that's about 2 years away) but I know that amount of time won't get me to my goal, probably only half there, but from past experience I love having my hair longer, so I'm looking forward to seeing how it grows.

Hey Austin welcome to the MLHH, glad you found us here. Your hair looks great already and should be quite easy to grow long and should look fantastic then. Two years is certainly a good goal to have for starters. You dont need trims or anything for 2 years just let it grow that time. If you get past that nothing will stop you :)
Looks great take care and have fun posting here Austin!
Welcome Austin! I also lurked for a long time before posting. Your hair will look fantastic long.
Keep on growin'
Bruce
Looks like a good start....your face shape looks like it should match your hair type (although im not an expert by any means)
Welcome to the site, Austin. Best of luck on your journey, and it certainly helps to have previous knowledge of what to expect. Looks like you'll be well-suited for long hair. Best regards. =)

Totally O/T but, I noticed in your pics that you're wearing a Ball State t-shirt. Do you go to BSU? I do, and I just found it weird someone else from here might be on the board.
Sorry guys, totally O/T!
Whoa! No way! Hey, send me an e-mail or something, or look me up on Facebook.
