ok, this isn't strictly male hair, but it does apply to some of us.
The best solution is to put one's hair in one's lap while driving.
It certainly beats getting one's hair caught in the seat, seat belt, door, window, etc.
The only downside seems to be that the driver in the next lane sometimes doesn't notice the light had turned green (;-)

I saw a feature on a concept vehicle by Volvo about a year ago. It was unique because it was designed by a group of female engineers specifically for the needs of women.
One of the features it had was a headrest specially designed with a "U" in the middle to accomodate a ponytail. I remember thinking at the time, "Hey, I could use that!"
That reminds me of bicycle helmets. I don't wear one, although I probably should, but it's annoying that only the "girl's" helmets have a gap for a ponytail.
