OK, I give in; here I am summer 1975 when I was coaching a little league baseball team.
Big George
Hey Big George, Cool pic! Hope all is good, take care!
Thanks. It was fun being young and immortal!
That is a good picture George you look fine there no "dork" pictures from you. Most of the less than charitable feeling some people have for old pictures of theirs aren't usually justified. Styles change and at the time most people fit right in with their times and only in retrospect do we think we look odd. We may think that when we look on now from some future vantage point!
Fine picture George, it is not dated at all this picture could be from anytime :)
Thanks, Chris, but you don't know how many photos I went through to get one that wasn't too screwy to show!
I was in the process then of letting my hair grow out also.
Thanks for the comments.
I bet I can guess George, it couldn't have been worse than how many I went through to post the best 2 I found :)
Have a Happy Thanksgiving George
Hi George,
That is an excellent photo, and is FAR better than the ones I have hidden away, and you had a good head of hair back then! However, you have already seen some of my old photos over at the LHC, and they are NOT the most flattering ones, lol!
Take care,
David
Problem is, our descriptions of flattering change over the years. We thought we were tough sh** back then, didn't we!
Wow George you looked great back then! All I can say is I wouldn't want to get you mad as I think you'd squash me like a grape.LOL I'd say if you weren't coaching a little league team you'd make a great bouncer at some rock club:) Anyway thanks for posting that cool pic of youself from the good old days.Mark
Thanks Mark; that's back when I was in a shape other than round! And I never did the bouncer thing, but delve into being the "enforcer" on some of the sports teams I played on. I was about 215-220 lbs back then. Oh for the good old days!
Did'ya have dead moose in the back of yer pickup? Or were you gonna roast dem english boyz on the bbq, squeal like a piggy boy!
;-)
I mean that in the nicest possible sense George, in fact that shirt, the hair and the cap is very 'in' (at least over here with the bmx/skate crowd), so yeah it looks uber cool.
Regards Dave
If I recall correctly you're one of those English boys, aren't you? :o)
No, it was dead deer in the back of my '71 Landcruiser, similar to this one, only in bright red
And rumor has it that we coonasses (Cajuns from South Louisiana)would eat anything that we could catch or kill!
Malnourished I'm not!
