Nothing like "catching" your own dinner for Thanksgiving. Around these parts we have a special way that it is done that I don't think you would find in any other town.
1. The "Bird" is lured by music and MUST hear a melody by Brahms.
2. Wind-up the phonograph and wait.
3. While waiting wash your hair
4. When done sneek up on the critter and "nab your meal!"
One trouble in my case. I just couldn't do it so had to let the bird go. Oh well, guess I'll have to get that TV Dinner afterall. Yummy, just like mother used to make. LOL :-)
Happy Thanksgiving to one and all!
Justin~
Hi Justin,
Now I will know EXACTLY how to nab a "Christmas Turkey", lol! Now all I have to do is nab one of those beautiful Edison phonographs, that would be a VERY tall order indeed! And that is only the FIRST step!
But your hair (and beard) are both looking fabulous, and I SURE hope you did not have a TV dinner for Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving to you,
David
Lol looks nice man
That's how you catch and terminate the old bird then!
Cheers,
John.B
Well no bird for me either Justin seems that this one preferred "Flight of the Bumblebee" to Brahms for some reason and by the time I finished washing "all this ridiculously long hair" I was just a bit too late!!
Hope you and your two cute dogs had a wonderful relaxing holiday! Take care :)
We're right in the middle of deer season here in northern Wisconsin. Here's my father-in-law with his bounty from opening day. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

That would explain why it didn't work for me I was playing a Strause Waltz, Damn!
Hope you enjoyed your TG Justin
