pre inter net where would a guy go to talk about hair, i don't mean to be into my hair i just got that wat one day, breaking the old hair habits and letting my hair grow( 8 wks now) is an experience, i want to share a little about it if anyones interested, last saturday i went by a shop there was an empty chair i had a short haircut in mind, i prayed before i got there for help not to get a haircut, as i waited outside the shop to get up the crazy idea to go in, some one walked by, i changed my mind and walked by the shop, opposed to that close to going in cause i thought i looked "suspect" just hanging out by the shop, since then i've un covered a lot about my hair growth / cuts habits. I don't go in shops any more( ideally) with that said my hair would grow out over my ears past my eyebrow, onto my shirt collar and 4 or five inches thick all over, of course why is the human pschy thinks " haircut" besides history, norms, military, social acceptability, indifference, ect, its not just like saying i i don't like anchovies so i wont eat them any more, any way the thing is 8 wks for me is a miracle of sorts i used haircuts to fill that arbitrary void in me i want to be free to have long hair, but its hard for any one to let thier hair grow not just an obsessed guy so next friday will be 9 wks hope to see u with my hair that much longer thanks
Welcome aboard, friend. Keep it growing and stick around. :)

I've noticed that many men seem to share this compulsion to get a regular haircut, a habit it seems that they find difficult to break. For me, getting a hair cut was something I used to put off as long as possible, certainly not a compulsive habit by any means. Once I decided to let my hair grow out, I felt a sense of relief, like going on a permanent vacation. So, I find this "barbershop compulsion" rather puzzling to say the least. This is just my observation. I know we all have different backgrounds and different ways of doing things.
