Sometimes it just seems like it just doesn't grow fast enough. I think my hair has gotten a LOT longer in the past few months, but lately it seems that it has slowed down. I'm sure it's just an illusion though...now that my hair is shoulder length it seems to collect there and the curls at the ends don't help much in the way of showing how long my hair really has gotten. The hair just sits on my shoulders and curls up. Maybe when it gets a little more dense it will all fall down.. That would be quite the milestone for sure :)

Your hair is looking greaet in these photos, and as far as I can tell, you have nothing to worry about slow growth at all. I have checked your previous photos by clicking on your avatar, and am amazed at the difference in the past year. Your hair IS growing, and be sure to keep up the good work!

I am quite sure that this is normal (unless you had curly hair to begin with). It "seems" as if it isn't growing because of the curling upwards you are now getting. Funny as it may sound, there are really two Awkward Stages to go through, and you are presently going through the second one which is due to collapse. Judging from the photos, you appear to have the hair-type that when the curling up of the ends gets too long gravity will (and it is almost as if overnight) kick-in and the curls will finally fall. The same happened to myself.
Your milestone is not all that far away and once past this it is all smooth sailing downward and longer. :-)

Yeah, I guess it could be another awkward stage. I never really considered that, but I was hoping that these curls are going to do something eventually.
The only thing I keep thinking is that it needs to just get longer before it will look really good. I guess that is the definition of awkward stage right there.
It's good to know I'm not alone in thinking this :)

Your hair is looking in really great condition and now it should be plain sailing and just let it grow and you can really say you've got longhair now and keep it growing.

Long hair it is, indeed. Only thing it needs is time... Sometimes time just seems to fly by, and others it just seems to stop. Right now it seems to be stopping :/

I thought I was terminal a month or two ago. Kinda the same senerio. As luck has it I'm not. It's just harder for me to see the growth due to the % of increase is getting smaller even though the rate of growth is most likely the same.
Well let's hope it's not terminal. I'm fairly sure it isn't. It's not impossible though, but that just doesn't seem right. Generally I loose very little hair, and it is very strong. Most of the hair I do loose is from me just being rough with it, and that isn't often. I'm thinking terminal is a good long ways off.
I'm not sure but it looks as if you have slightly longer hair than I do, and at about the same stage. It would seem right to me if this perceived slowdown in growth is just due to the hair tending to stick around the shoulders.
