I don't watch much TV and rarely go to the movies, but in a recent NYT Magaszine there was an article on Sam Elliott which drove me to the internet.
I have always found this guy knock down handsome, but I see that he has progressively grown his silver hair to shoulder length. I hoipe this is a conviction and desire on his part, but he has been cast in a seriest of movies where the hair works.
I hope it is not a role, but he real Sam Elliott.

I've seen a fair amount of movies whith Sam Elliot in them, and I've noticed that in many of them he has had longish hair at least (and the moustache, of course). He's had a long career, and if you notice, back in the 70's, he always had the longer hair. Perhaps he takes roles where his chosen "look" works or perhaps he chosen on that account. One of my favorite movies of his is The Legacy with Katharine Ross.
I think he had long hair in the movies (Mask and Marlbouro Men).
