  If you can will your way past any opposition (internal or external) for two years, I imagine you have achieved enough of a long-haired status that you can no longer question it. Good for you.
  The beard is a nice addition.

  First of all I hope you all are well, second, I'd like to thank you for all the words, compliments and support I've always had found here. I admit that sometimes I felt like giving up and just cutting it, and I assume that I didn't do that because I've always loved long hair for men (since I was a little boy), I've always always wanted to become a longhaired man and all the inspiration and support that I find here among you pals. You all probably know that, but I'm going to reiforce it, it's amazingly important to receive the compliments and the words of encouragement to be something so simple: a longhaired man. It seems the prejudice is here (unfortunatelly) to stay and we do really have to be brave enough to just cut my hair in the day that I decide it by myself. Now, about the hair, I want to keep it growing to my waist, that's my goal. As I'm already 43 I don't if I am healthy enough to grow it that long, but I'll try it anyway. I probably will have just one small trim during the next folowing year, about 1/3 of an inch at most. Thanks again and hugs to you all!!

  You are 43 yo? No way! I would never have guessed. You definitely look much younger. Hair is looking so good, keep resisting the urge to cut it, if you can. Keep smiling too.
