Greetings All, well I'm at 20 months...thought it was about 3 months ago since my last update...doesn't appear that there is much growth since then though. :-( I'd hate to think that this is it...

Don't worry at all, it IS growing, one look at your former avatar confirms how much longer your hair is now that it was only a few months ago. Your hair looks great, it is getting some good length now, and the best advice, as always, is to keep it growing!

Your hair is looking great Max, and yes it is noticeably longer, that is pretty good length for 20 months. When you look at yourself in the mirror every day, it is hard to see the difference. Looks like you are doing some serious workouts these days also !!

Oh I wouldn't worry about your hair reaching terminal right now. It's definitely gotten longer and the monthly changes aren't as noticable to you now that they constitute an ever decreasing percentage of your total length.
Oh, and the "falling on the shoulders" style really looks good on you!

Hi Mouse, thanks so much. Glad you like the falling on shoulders look. You are right about the total percentage growth per month now... I wonder what terminal would be for me...I hope at least mid-back...at least that is what my goal is for the time being. We'll see.

Max, your hair is coming along well. It appears to be maybe
11 to 12 inches long. At 1/2" per month it will grow 10" in
20 months. If you started growing with 1 or 2 inches, 20
months ago, you would currently have 11 or 12 inches of hair.
Some people have slower growing hair that grows at only 3/8"
per month. Yours is certainly growing, so don't give up on
it. Save a copy of your current hair photo and take another
in about 6 months. You should see a noticable difference in
that span of time.

Hey Scott, thanks alot for the info. Just so happens that I measured a shed hair this morning and it must have come from the top of my head because it was nearly 12 inches long. I had about 2 inches of growth just on top when I started about 20 months ago, so your estimates are right on. So, the hair in the back and sides is most likely around 10 inches, since I started with a "0" buzzcut.
Thanks for taking the time to check in. Perhaps if I have the willpower...at some point down the road my hair will look something like yours because it is very fine and delicate...we'll see.

Hi Max the hair looks awesome!I wouldn't get to hung up on thinking your hair stopped growing as looking at it everyday seems to give that impression.Anyway you look great in that shot with the hair and that gym toned body.All I can say is keep it up as what you are doing is working GREAT!Mark

Your hair definately looks longer to me but my recollection was it was a ponytail shot so it doesn't count!!

I almost took a pic of myself with wet hair before combing out this morning. I looked in the mirror and I thought..."Wow, this looks like Nuttidave!"

I imagine you will get some more length. At your length, progress is not so noticeable. Just keep taking good care of it...
By the way, the length now looks great, nothing to throw rocks at.
Hey Matt, you are correct as some others have stated the same thing. BTW, one of my "friends" wanted to throw rocks at me the other day as he was stating that I "should get my hair cut!" So it goes...and my hair hopefully gets longer...

At your length you are not going to visibly see much difference in a couple of months or so; but you will notice it if you measure it. I am amazed when I don't think I am gaining length but the tape tells me otherwise.
To me it's actually a progress point to get to where you can't see changes in a short period.
Hey George, thanks for the note and comments. I will try using the tape at some point to gage progress. You are correct indeed! I figured I would wait until April or so around month 24 for the next official update and avatar pic change.

Max, Your hair looks great falling over the shoulders. Some folks can't even attain that before it goes terminal. Be patient and let it grow and flow. Nice salt and pepper beard by the way!

Great update, Max! You shouldn't worry about your hair not growing man, I can assure you it definitely is! I see a major difference in length now in this update as opposed to your older one. All is looking great so far man. Hang in there and keep it growing.
