So I've been trying a new method with my hair.
Shampoo and condition as always, except this time, I leave in the conditioner on my hair from the neck down, basically, not applying conditioner to the scalp. (I actually recently read doing that somewhere)And it's not conditioner that is necessarily made for 'leaving in' either.
I also don't towel dry.
For some reason, it's always been suggested to towel dry your hair. Perhaps as an alternative to blow drying? But i swear, each time that I towel dried it, it became more difficult to finger comb/comb/brush/do whatever.
So what I do is, give it a few fingercomb strokes and let it dry naturally. And perhaps it's the conditioner but dayum, it just makes my hair slightly more wavy.
I guess I'll stick with this method for now...or until I get my hair trimmed/cut, maybe.
I've never ever used a hair dryer or even towel dried my hair. My hair is always allowed to air dry. Tangling isn't an issue, provided my hair isn't tangled before it is washed. It never has gotten tangled during a washing.
As per one members advice, I have started to wash and rinse with cold water. Unless it's coincidence, I have noticed that my hair seems a lot stronger, and there is a lot less shedding.
I have found that only partially rinsing out conditioner after applying it seems to help immensely with any frizziness that might occur. Unfortunately the effects of this don't last very long. It usually takes about 2 days before my hair's natural oils come into play and tame any frizz. If I go too long without washing, my hair just gets really thin, and after about a week it starts to get itchy.

This is relatively what I do.
I rarely need to shampoo these days, as my scalp doesn't get oily often. So I do that like once a week. Hey, everyone's frequency of shampooing is different!
But, I conditioner pretty much every day--although amount varies. The more I use makes it so much easier to comb out though.
I never towel dry (my floor gets really wet with my thick hair from doing this though lol!)
I never blow dry.
I never use a brush (only combs).
I never dye my hair.
And I usually spend 30+ minutes on my hair a day, lol.. wow I'm nuts!! haha!
Well nothing wrong with a bit of good hair care routine and the positive results certain show as I've said before.
Cheers,

Dude, your hair is looking awesome, especially in that last pic, where you can see its texture and fullness.
Thanks. I appreciate that :)
Well, it looks really good. And it works for you. And that's all that counts.
