I haven't been on this forum since I chopped my hair off two years ago. I'm glad to see it still going though. I think men should be allowed to have long hair despite what schools and places of employment will say. Personally though, I tired growing my hair out for a full year in an attempt to emulate my favorite classic rock bands, didn't like the look or feel, so I went back to the short tapered look. But hey guys, I'm not a shorthair trying to tell longhairs what to do, so keep on keepin' on guys and in the spirit of the season, "oh let it grow, let it grow, let it grow"
MLHH was founded in 1997. It can probably claim to be the oldest continually-running website dedicated to long hair (since the one older site I'm aware of, www.tlhs.org, shut down earlier this year).
Even more remarkable is that it's a site about men's long hair. Over the years, MLHH has remained true to its goal. It's never been commercialized. And it's filled with the most dedicated longhairs anywhere.

Don't try to emulate anybody. Be yourself. If YOU are a longhair, you will have long hair. If not, you'll cut it.
