The snow is refreshing ... it seems to renew one's mind and soul...
The hair continues to legthen monthly ... half tail is now an option finally! Sorry I've missed so many great updates and new avatars ... its good to be back though..

As always, it is a genuine pleasure to hear from you, you are one of our most appreciated members, and your contributions to this community are outstanding. Your hair keeps getting better and better, it thick, with great natural waves, and your growth has taken off lately. It SURE looks cold with all that snow, we have had some snow here in Nova Scotia as well recently.
I agree there ARE a lot of new avatars, in fact, I have a new one, which shows my length a lot better. Your hair is a LOT longer than your avatar as well, and the avatar updates are no longer done by Oren. Chris H has taken over that duty for us on the hyperboard, with Kevin as backup, and both of them are to be commended for doing an outstanding job.

Oh I wondered who had taken over the roll and they are both doing a sterling job and I amazed to see directory being updated so quick.

Yes, I agree that both Chris and Kevin are doing an outstanding job, and they are getting the job done quickly and smoothly. I did update my avatar earlier in the week, after a few months with the old one. I felt my current length is shown better with my new one.

Thanks so much for your kind words. I've really missed being around the past six weeks. My hair seems to have taken off on a growth spurt in the past couple of months despite the cold weather.. I'm thankful for that. The pictures were taken this am in the snow; but oddly enough the snow has really started dumping tonight.. a good night to stay inside.. :)

Hey, it's great to see you around again, Tristan! I heard it was snowing back in Denver today, so these pics certainly confirm it. Thanks so much.. it really is good to be back. And yes .. the pictures were from the am today; but right after these pics were taken the snow really started coming down! We're under a heavy snow warning until tomorrow morning ... The slopes will be ready for your return as they have been hammered!

Great pictures Tristan and I hope all is well with you and certainly a marked change and the 1/2 tail suits you well. The hair is looking great and always nice to hear from people when they have not been posting for a bit.
Well your lucky get snow, we may get one or two flakes in February and all the buses and trains stop, and we can't cope like they do in Scandinavia.

Thanks so much for the response.. I love the half-tail option. Even though not all of my bangs stay in the tail; but, they're long enough to stay back which is nice - another month or two and the rest should stay in as well..
The snow is wonderful.. it was such a mild November here which is strange; but December so far has been wet.. which is great..

I got to royally surprise some friends out in Oregon. My longhair buddy didn't even recognize me at the airport at first. :-)
I think another eight months (four inches) will do wonders. That should allow it to be draping over your shoulders. Have fun plotting!

I love the hair-tail.. although it needs to be just a bit longer for all of it to stay in the tie.. Amazingly; I'm just average on my growth rate.. it just looks longer for some reason.. I'm at 16 months and right at 8 inches.. but it is very thick..

Incidentally not all the upates show longer hair, the end of last month I cut mine back considerably as I didn't quite know what to do with it but it seemed way too long then. I might grow it longer from this point but not sure how far.

It was a pretty refreshing day that day.. Ironically; we got 8 inches of snow that day (Saturday) and another 4 inces last night ... and its still snowing.. It really is nice though.

The snow can be refreshing but is already getting on my nerves
with nedless clearing the driveway. Oh well global warming takes a holiday.

I'm really sick of wearing bandanas... I've probably worn one consistently everyday for about 7-8 months... so any type of tail is a welcomed relief..
